Scanning Pages in a Book: Your Xerox 7600 scanner has an innovative hinged lid so you can lay books flat on the scanner glass to scan their pages. 1. Open the scanner lid and place a book on the glass. 2. Align the edges of the pages with the reference marks on the scanner. 3. Close the scanner lid. Notice how the hinge at the back of the scanner lid lifts up so the lid lays flat on the book. 4. Press one of the scanner buttons to start the scan. 5.
