Playing the Piano Intelligent Acoustic Control (IAC) With this function, the sound quality of this instrument is automatically adjusted and controlled according to the overall volume. Even when the volume is low, this lets you hear both low sounds and high sounds clearly. To turn on/off IAC: While holding down [DEMO/SONG] and [PIANO/VOICE] simultaneously, press the C#2 key to turn the function on or the C2 key to turn the function off. C#2 (On) Default setting: On Lowest key C2 (Off) To adjust IAC Depth: While holding down [DEMO/SONG] and [PIANO/VOICE] simultaneously, press the D2 key to decrease the value, or the E2 key to increase. D#2 (Default) Lowest key D2 (Depth -1) E2 (Depth +1) The higher the value, the more clearly that low and high sounds are heard at lower volume levels. Setting range: -3 - +3 Default setting: 0 (D#2) Grand Expression Modeling When a piano Voice (page 18) is selected, you can add Grand Expression Modeling effects, which simulate the physical sound transitions of an actual piano. When this feature is set to "Dynamic," you can control extremely subtle nuances in the performance and sound by changing your playing strength or touch.
