Manually adjusts the volume of each speaker. Manually adjusts the output of each speaker based on distance to the listening point. Selects an equalizer to adjust speaker output characteristics. Generates test tones. SETUP Setting various functions (Setup menu) ■ Manual speaker setup Config Adjusts the output characteristics of the speakers based on manually set parameters. In the Config submenu, you can select the speaker size characteristic (Large or Small). Select the size (sound reproduction capacity) that matches your speakers. Woofer diameter • 16 cm (6.5 in) or larger → Large • 16 cm (6.5 in) or smaller → Small When speaker size is set to "Small," low-frequency components of the speakers that you configured are produced from the subwoofer (or from the front speakers if there is no subwoofer). Subwoofer Confirms the subwoofer. YES (Default) NONE Select this when you have a subwoofer connected. During playback, the subwoofer will produce audio from the LFE (low-frequency effect) channel and bass audio from other channels. J2 Select this when you do not have a subwoofer connected. The front speakers will produce audio from the LFE (low-frequency effect) channel and bass frequency audio from other channels. J 1 : This menu item appears depending on the "Control" setting. J 2 : Enabling the "Extra Bass" setting allows both the subwoofer and the front speakers to produce bass audio. En 49
