RESETTING THE FACTORY PRESETS RESETTING THE FACTORY PRESETS If you want to reset all of your unit's parameters for any reason, do the following. This procedure completely resets ALL parameters, including the SET MENU, level, assign and tuner presets. Be sure this unit is in standby mode. (U.S.A. model) VOLUME STANDBY /ON PHONES SPEAKERS A B SILENT CINEMA PRESET/TUNING SEARCH MODE EDIT FM/AM XM A/B/C/D/E CATEGORY NEXT l PRESET/TUNING/CH h LEVEL STRAIGHT EFFECT TONE CONTROL l PROGRAM h BASS/TREBLE INPUT MODE MEMORY MAN'L/AUTO FM INPUT TUNING MODE DISPLAY AUTO/MAN'L MONO MULTI CH INPUT VIDEO AUX VIDEO L AUDIO R 4 Press STANDBY/ON to confirm your selection. STANDBY /ON If you selected "RESET", the unit is reset to its factory presets and switches to standby mode. If you selected "CANCEL", the unit switches to standby mode and nothing is reset. 1,4 1,3 2 1 With the unit in standby mode, hold down STRAIGHT (EFFECT) on the front panel and press STANDBY/ON. The ADVANCED SETUP menu appears in the front panel display. STRAIGHT EFFECT While holding down, press STANDBY /ON y To cancel the initialization procedure without making any changes, press STANDBY/ON. 2 Press PROGRAM l / h repeatedly to move through the menu and select "PRESET". l PROGRAM h 3 Press STRAIGHT (EFFECT) to select the desired setting.
