3 Songs - Playing, Practicing and Recording Songs - For the PSR-S970/S770, "Song" refers to the MIDI songs which include preset songs, commercially available MIDI format files, etc. Not only can you play back a Song and listen to it, but you can also play the keyboard along with Song playback and record your own performance as a Song. NOTE For instructions on playback and recording of audio files, refer to page 71. Playback of Songs You can play back the following types of Songs. • Preset Songs (in the PRESET tab of the Song Selection display) • Your own recorded Songs (page 68) • Commercially available Song data: SMF (Standard MIDI File) NOTE For information on compatible data formats, refer to page 8. If you want to play back a Song in USB flash drive, connect the USB flash drive containing Song data to the [USB TO DEVICE] terminal beforehand. 1 Press the SONG [SELECT] button to call up the Song Selection display. NOTE Before using a USB flash drive, be sure to read "Connecting USB Devices" on page 100. 2 2 Use the TAB [E][F] buttons to select the location of the desired Song. 3 Select the desired Song by using the [A] - [J] buttons.
