Chapter 3 Tutorial 3 The ZyXEL Utility then asks whether you want to use the security settings in your current profile or not. If you click Yes, then it attempts to connect using those settings. If the settings are correct and the ZyXEL Utility makes the connection, skip to step 5. Note: If you do not yet have a profile, then the ZyXEL Utility uses the factory default profile. This will not work when connecting to a secure network. If you click No, then the Settings screen opens where you can enter new settings to create a new profile that will allow you to connect to the selected network. Proceed to the next step. 4 When the Settings screen opens, click either WEP Encryption or WPA Encryption to configure your NWD-271N's security encryption. This must match the encryption used by the wireless network to which you want to connect. For details on the WEP encryption settings, see Section 4.3.1 on page 28. For details on the WPA PSK encryption settings, see Section 4.3.2 on page 29.
