SSS0474 SSS0475 Forward and backward 1 Moving the switch k forward or backward will slide the seat forward or backward to the desired position. Reclining 2 Move the recline switch k backward until the desired angle is obtained. To bring the seatback forward again, move 2 the switch k forward. Seat lifter Push the front or rear end of the switch up or down to adjust the height and angle of the seat. For the front passenger's seat, only the angle of the seat can be adjusted. The reclining feature allows adjustment of the seatback for occupants of different sizes for added comfort and to help obtain proper seat belt fit. See "Precautions on seat belt usage" later in this section. The seatback may be reclined to allow occupants to rest when the vehicle is stopped and the transmission is in the P (Park) position.
