When the "FRONT WINDSHIELD" button is pushed while operating in automatic mode, the air conditioning is set to operate and the OUTSIDE AIR mode is set. Push the "A/C" switch for dehumidified heating or cooling. This setting clears the front view more quickly. If you push the "FRONT WINDSHIELD" button once again while in the FRONT WINDSHIELD mode, the mode then returns to the last mode used. (c) Rear air conditioning switch (d) Air filter To turn on the rear air conditioning when you sit on the front seat, push this switch. The rear air conditioning operates in the automatic mode. To adjust the air flow and setting temperature, follow the steps in accordance with "Rear air conditioning controls" in the Lexus Owner's Manual. CAUTION Do not use the "FRONT WINDSHIELD" button during cooled air operation in extremely humid weather. The difference between the temperature of the outside air and that of the windshield could cause the outer surface of the windshield to fog up blocking your vision. 114 Your vehicle is equipped with an air conditioning filter. The air conditioning filter may clog after long use and reduce the air flow quantity. To maintain the air conditioning efficiency, have the air conditioning filter inspected or replaced by your Lexus dealer according to the maintenance schedule.

”FRONT WINDSHIELD”
button is

you sit on the front seat, push this switch.

controls” in the Lexus Owner’s Manual.
(d) Air filter
Your vehicle is equipped with an air con-
ditioning filter.
The air conditioning filter
