Remote All Door Lock To lock all doors, press LOCK on the remote keyless entry transmitter. The LOCK button on the remote keyless entry transmitter will arm the content theft-deterrent system. See "Content Theft-Deterrent" in the Index for more information. Remote Liftgate Unlock To unlock the liftgate, press REAR on the remote keyless entry transmitter. See "Liftgate/Tailgate" in the Index for more information. Remote Lock Confirmation When you use the remote keyless entry transmitter to lock your vehicle, the headlamps and parking lamps will flash briefly to let you know the command has been received. If you press the LOCK button again, within five seconds, the horn will sound briefly to let you know the vehicle is already locked. If you would like to change the way the headlamps, parking lamps and horn operate with remote lock confirmation, see "Vehicle Customization" in the Index. If your vehicle is equipped with the Driver Information Center (DIC), see "Driver Information Center" in the Index. Remote Unlock Confirmation When you use your remote keyless entry transmitter to unlock your vehicle, the headlamps and parking lamps will flash briefly during the day or the perimeter lighting will flash briefly at night to let you know the command was received. If your vehicle is equipped with the Driver Information Center (DIC), see "Driver Information Center" in the Index. Remote Alarm When you press the horn button on the remote keyless entry transmitter, the headlamps and the parking lamps will flash and the horn will sound. This will allow you to attract attention, if needed. Press the horn button again to stop the alarm from sounding. 2-11
