If it is below the lower level of the "HOT" range, add the recommended steering fluid up to the specified range of the dipstick. If the fluid level is extreme low, it may indicate possible leakage. Consult your SUBARU dealer for inspection. J Checking the fluid level when the fluid is cold When the fluid level has to be checked without warming up the power steering system (approximately 70°F [21°C]), read the fluid level on the "COLD" range.
