B Personal protection alarm (Panic) HS1000BC Pressing both buttons together on the remote transmitter activates the Panic feature, sounding the siren and flashing the parking lights. Panic is designed to bring attention to the vehicle and surrounding area. Press either button on the transmitter to turn off the Panic alarm. B Disarming the security system in the event of a lost or broken transmitter HS1001CB If your remote transmitter fails to operate, the system can be disarmed using the Emergency Override/Programming button. Follow the procedure below: 1. Enter the vehicle. The alarm will sound when the door is opened. 2. Insert the ignition key and turn to the "ON" position. 1-18
