You can choose to send an Adobe Captivate file (CP), a Windows executable file, a SWF file (to bypass many firewall protection systems), or an XML file (XLIFF file). To send an Adobe Captivate project through e-mail: 1 Open an Adobe Captivate project. 2 Select File > Publish. 3 In the Publish dialog box, select E-Mail. 4 In Project Title, enter the desired filename. 5 In File type, select the type of file to create: SWF File This option sends the necessary Flash project file to the selected mail recipient. Windows executable (EXE) This option sends the executable file to the selected mail recipient. When publishing your project as an EXE, you can choose the version of Flash Player you want to use.

project. To change any of the options listed in this area, click the blue text. To change preferences, click the Prefer-
ences button.

Click Publish.
You are notified when the process is complete.
Note:
After the files are uploaded, you can view the project from your web browser by entering the web address
http://www.yourwebaddress.com/filename.htm” where “www.yourwebaddress.com” is the URL and “filename.htm”
is the filename you entered in step 3.
Sending projects using e-mail
You can send Adobe Captivate projects in a variety of formats through e-mail. You can choose to send an Adobe
Captivate file (CP), a Windows executable file, a SWF file (to bypass many firewall protection systems), or an XML
file (XLIFF file).
To send an Adobe Captivate project through e-mail:

Open an Adobe Captivate project.

Select File > Publish.

In the Publish dialog box, select E-Mail.

In Project Title, enter the desired filename.

In File type, select the type of file to create:
SWF File
This option sends the necessary Flash project file to the selected mail recipient.
Windows executable (EXE)
This option sends the executable file to the selected mail recipient. When publishing
your project as an EXE, you can choose the version of Flash Player you want to use.
