Turn "Organize By Thread" on or off: In Settings, choose "Mail, Contacts, Calendars," and tap the switch to turn Organize By Thread on or off. See "Mail" on page 170. If you have more than one account set up and turned on, the Accounts section of the Mailboxes screen provides access to your accounts. Tap an account to see its folders and mailboxes, including its inbox. If you have only one account set up and turned on, the folders and mailboxes for the account appear on the Mailboxes screen. Tap to see all your email accounts Number of unread messages Check for new messages: Choose a mailbox, or tap at any time. Load additional messages: Scroll to the bottom of the list of messages and tap Load More Messages. Zoom in on part of a message Resize any column of text to fit the screen See all the recipients of a message Add an email recipient to your contacts list Mark a message as unread Double-tap an area of the message. Double-tap again to zoom out. Or pinch apart or together to zoom in or out. Double-tap the text. Tap Details. Tap a name or email address to see the recipient's contact information. Then tap an email address to contact the person. Tap Hide to hide the recipients. Tap the message and, if necessary, tap Details to see the recipients. Then tap a name or email address and tap Create New Contact or "Add to Existing Contact." Open the message and tap "Mark as Unread." to see the recipients. Then tap a name or email

Mark a message as unread
Open the message and tap “Mark as Unread.”
