NOTE: When pushing the top rack into the dishwasher, push it until it stops against the back of the tub so the top rack spray arm will connect to the water supply. RACKMATIC™ Top Rack Height Adjustment (models SHE66C, SHV57C and SHX57C) The top rack can be lowered to accommodate large items in the top rack, and raised to make room for large items in the bottom rack. To lower the top rack: 1. Pull the top rack out of the dishwasher until it stops rolling. 2. Press the RACKMATIC™ handles inward as shown in Figure 4 and let Figure 4 the rack drop. To raise the top rack: 1. Pull the top rack out of the dishwasher until it stops rolling. 2. Grasp the top of the rack above the RACKMATIC™ handles and pull it upward as shown in Figure 5 until the RACKMATIC™ Figure 5 handles lock the rack into position (you do not need to press the RACKMATIC™ handles in order raise the rack). NOTE: Before you push the top rack back into the dishwasher, ensure that the rack height is the same on both sides. Otherwise, the dishwasher door will not shut and the top rack spray arm will not connect to the water circuit. 3. Push the top rack back into the dishwasher. 6

The top rack can be lowered to accommodate

rack:
1.
Pull the top
rack out of the
dishwasher until
it stops rolling.
2. Press the

MATIC™

the rack drop.
To raise the top rack:
1. Pull the top rack out of the dishwasher until it
stops rolling.
2. Grasp the top
of the rack
above the
RACK
MATIC™
handles and
pull it upward
as shown in
Figure 5
until the
RACK
MATIC™
handles lock the rack into position (you do not
need to press the
RACK
MATIC™ handles in
order raise the rack).
NOTE:
Before you push the top rack back
into the dishwasher, ensure that the rack
height is the same on both sides. Otherwise,
the dishwasher door will not shut and the top
rack spray arm will not connect to the water
circuit.
3. Push the top rack back into the dishwasher.
