Chapter 4 Difficulties The cordless handset beeps during a call. You cannot make an internal call. You cannot register the optional cordless handset. Suggestions Come closer to the machine (base unit). The cordless handset may be too far from the machine (base unit). Your battery may be low. If you want to continue the call, transfer the call to the machine (base unit) and use the Speaker Phone key to answer. (See Transferring a call at the end of a conversation on page 13.)
