Selector 1: Definition of programmable key This selector defines a programmable key as a TEL key or TEL/POLLING key. Setting this selector to "1" allows the programmable key to function as either a TEL or POLLING key if pressed when the handset is off or on the hook, respectively. Selector 2: Ringer OFF setting This selector determines whether or not the ringer can be set to OFF. Selector 4: Detection of distinctive ringing pattern If this selector is set to "1," the machine detects only the number of rings; if it is set to "0," the machine detects the number of rings and the ringing time length to compare the detected ringing pattern with the registered distinctive one. 29
