Replacing a BJ Tank in the BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge If you are using a BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge and you perform a print operation correctly but either the color or black output is blank, a BJ tank may be out of ink. Perform the print head cleaning at least five times. If the same output is still blank, replace the empty BJ tank in the BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge. Take the new BJ tank out of its packaging. r Then remove the orange protective cap. Make sure the printer's power is on, and open the printer cover. r Lift the cover from the center. r The printer moves the cartridge holder to the center of the printer. r The POWER/ERROR light blinks while the cartridge holder is positioned to the center of the printer. Replacing a BJ Tank in the BC-21e
Color BJ Cartridge
If you are using a BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge and you perform a print
operation correctly but either the color or black output is blank, a
BJ tank may be out of ink. Perform the print head cleaning at least
five times. If the same output is still blank, replace the empty BJ tank
in the BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge.
Then remove the orange protective cap.
Lift the cover from the center.
The printer moves the cartridge holder to the center of
the printer.
The
POWER/ERROR
light blinks while the cartridge
holder is positioned to the center of the printer.
