Aligning the Print Heads When you click on the Start Auto Head Alignment box, you see this screen: Maintaining the Printer N Make sure you have letter-size plain paper loaded. The printer outputs a one-page pattern. When you click the Align Print Heads button, the printer automatically aligns the print heads. This takes approximately five minutes.
