i Selecting the Drive Mode Single and continuous drive modes are provided. You can select the drive mode suiting the scene or subject. 1 Press the button (9). 2 Select the drive mode. While looking at the LCD panel or in the viewfinder, turn the dial. u : Single shooting When you press the shutter button completely, only one shot will be taken. o : High-speed continuous shooting When you hold down the shutter button completely, you can shoot continuously at max. approx. 6.5 shots/sec. while you keep holding it down. However, the maximum continuous shooting speed may become slower under the following conditions: With Anti-flicker shooting: The continuous shooting speed will be max. approx. 5.6 shots/sec. With Live View shooting: When [AF operation] is set to [One-Shot AF], or when [Manual Focus] is set, the continuous shooting speed will be max. approx. 6.5 shots/sec. When [AF operation] is set to [Servo AF], the continuous shooting speed of max. approx. 4.0 shots/sec. will be given priority. Note that if an EX-series Speedlite is used with Live View shooting, the continuous shooting speed will be max. approx. 1.7 shots/sec. 116
