Setting the Scanning Contrast You can adjust the degree of contrast at which your document is scanned for sending and copying. Adjust according to how light or how dark your document is. Follow this procedure to set the scanning contrast for sending and copying: 1 Open the one-touch speed dialing panel. 2 Press Data Registration. DATA REGSTRATION 3 Press Set twice. USER SETTINGS DATE & TIME 4 Use ∂ or ¨ to select SCAN CONTRAST. 5 Press Set. SCAN CONTRAST STANDARD 6 Use ∂ or ¨ to select the scanning contrast you want. • You can select from the following: - STANDARD Adequate for most documents. - DARKER Suitable for light documents. - LIGHTER Suitable for dark documents. 7 Press Set.
