Using Maintenance Functions I Turning the Printer On and Off You can turn the printer on and off from the Printer Properties dialog box. The Auto Power On/Off capability of the printer driver also allows you to turn the printer off when no data is sent to the printer for a certain period of time, or turn the printer back on again when data is sent to the printer. Turning the printer off 1 Open the Printer Properties dialog box, then click the Maintenance tab. 2 Click the Power-off icon. 3 When a conﬁrmation message appears, click the OK button. The printer is turned off. Note The next time you turn on the printer, press the POWER button of the printer.
