Viewer Settings Configure the Video Window You can configure the video window settings, including the window size, video format (JPEG or MPEG-4) and video resolution. Change the Video Window Size 1 Select a camera and open the video window (p. 99). 2 Click the video window menu button to display the menu. 7 Video window menu button 3 Click [Video Display Size] and select the video window size from the submenu. Switches the size of the video window to the specified video size. Uses the [Video Receive Size] when that option is selected. Video is displayed full screen when [Full Screen] is selected. To return to the normal screen, press the Esc key. Note • Drag any corner of the video window to resize it. • If the video window size selected in the [Video Receive Size] submenu is greater than [640 x 480], the load on the CPU will increase and the Viewer may operate more slowly. • Depending on the grid type that is selected for grid display, some of the [Video Display Size] submenus are grayed out and cannot be selected. • If the video receive size and video display size have a different aspect ratio, black bands may be displayed along the left/right edges or top/bottom edges of the video. You can configure the video window settings, including the window size, video format (JPEG or MPEG-4) and video
resolution.
Change the Video Window Size
Switches the size of the video window to the specified video size.
Uses the [Video Receive Size] when that option is selected.
Video is displayed full screen when [Full Screen] is selected. To return to the normal screen, press the Esc key.
Note
Drag any corner of the video window to resize it.
If the video window size selected in the [Video Receive Size] submenu is greater than [640 x 480], the load on the CPU will
increase and the Viewer may operate more slowly.
Depending on the grid type that is selected for grid display, some of the [Video Display Size] submenus are grayed out and
cannot be selected.
If the video receive size and video display size have a different aspect ratio, black bands may be displayed along the left/right
