Appendix Changing the Storage Server IP Address When the IP address of a computer on which a Storage Server is installed changes, the IP address of the Storage Server must also be changed in some cases. If "IP Address Configuration Error" appears for [Status] in the [Storage Server Search Results] tab of the lower section of RM Manager, change the IP address of the Storage Server as follows. Changing the Storage Server IP Address with RM Manager 1 Launch RM Manager. 2 Click [Tools] > [Change IP Address]. Or select the Storage Server in the [Storage Server Search Results] tab, and select [Change IP Address] in the right-click menu. 3 Enter the Storage Server's changed IP address, user name, and password, and then click [OK]. Change the Storage Server IP Address with the Command Line 1 Select [RM Storage Server] from [Control Panel] > [System and Security] > [Administrative Tools] > [Service] and stop the service. 2 Open the command prompt using [Run as administrator], enter command line option (-resethost=IP address) and execute. When the IP address of a computer on which a Storage Server is installed changes, the IP address of the Storage Server
must also be changed in some cases.

When executing the command, enter “storage_server_rm_lite.exe”.
