Specifying the Network Settings Additional Protocol Settings This section describes two additional protocols supported for this machine: HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). HTTP 2 The HTTP allows you to communicate between your computer and the machine via a web interface (i.e., Remote UI). Before you use the Remote UI, follow the procedure below to activate HTTP on the machine from the menu. 1 Press [Menu]. 2 Press [ (-)] or [ (+)] to select ➞ press [Set]. 3 Press [ (-)] or [ (+)] to select ➞ press [Set]. 4 Press [ (-)] or [ (+)] to select ➞ press [Set]. 5 Press [ (-)] or [ (+)] to select ➞ press [Set]. 6 Specify the HTTP port number (default: 80) using the numeric keys ➞ press [Set]. 7 Press [Stop/Reset] to return to the standby display. Additional Protocol Settings
This section describes two additional protocols supported for this machine: HTTP

HTTP
The HTTP allows you to communicate between your computer and the machine via
a web interface (i.e., Remote UI).
Before you use the Remote UI, follow the procedure below to activate HTTP on the
machine from the <NETWORK SETTINGS> menu.
