When you manually assign an IP address to an IP Conference Station, you can assign the default gateway to be used. Follow these steps to assign a default gateway. Assigning a Domain Name The domain name is the name of the Domain Name System (DNS) domain in which the IP Conference Station is located. DNS is a hierarchical name for TCP/IP host computers that provides standard naming conventions. Follow these steps to assign a domain name. Step 1 Step 2 Press the Up or Down scroll button to select Domain. Use the dialing pad to enter a new domain name. To enter letters, use the numbers associated with a particular letter. For example, the 2 key has the letters ABC. For a lower case "a," press 2 twice. Press the 2 key repeatedly to scroll through the available letters and numbers. Accessing Network Configuration Settings
Assigning a Default Gateway
Note
You can only manually assign a default gateway if DHCP is disabled.
When you manually assign an IP address to an IP Conference Station, you can
