Chapter 3 Configuration of the Cisco IP Conference Station 7935 Accessing Network Configuration Settings Follow these steps to configure the VLAN ID on the IP Conference Station. Press the Save softkey to save your changes. Configuring TFTP Options If you do not use DHCP to direct the IP Conference Station to a TFTP Server, you must manually assign one. To accomplish this, an alternative TFTP Server must be assigned instead of the one assigned by DHCP. Assigning a TFTP Server For the IP Conference Station, the Main TFTP Server cannot be changed. If you want to assign an alternate TFTP Server, you must manually assign it. To assign an alternative TFTP Server, see the "Using an Alternate TFTP Server" section on page 3-11. Using an Alternate TFTP Server If you want to override the TFTP address that the IP Conference Station received through DHCP, you must manually enable an alternate TFTP Server. Follow these steps to enable an alternate TFTP Server. Step 1 Step 2 Press the Up or Down scroll button to select Alt TFTP. If the IP Conference Station is not using an alternate TFTP Server, the option displays as: Alt TFTP NO. Press the Yes softkey. Accessing Network Configuration Settings
Follow these steps to configure the VLAN ID on the IP Conference Station.

Use the dialing pad to enter a new VLAN ID (0 - 4095).

Configuring TFTP Options
If you do not use DHCP to direct the IP Conference Station to a TFTP Server, you
must manually assign one. To accomplish this, an alternative TFTP Server must
be assigned instead of the one assigned by DHCP.
Assigning a TFTP Server
For the IP Conference Station, the Main TFTP Server cannot be changed. If you
want to assign an alternate TFTP Server, you must manually assign it. To assign
an alternative TFTP Server, see the
“Using an Alternate TFTP Server” section on
page 3-11
.
Using an Alternate TFTP Server
If you want to override the TFTP address that the IP Conference Station received
through DHCP, you must manually enable an alternate TFTP Server.
Follow these steps to enable an alternate TFTP Server.
Step 1
Press the

or
Down
scroll button to select Alt TFTP.
If the IP Conference Station is not using an alternate TFTP Server, the option
displays as:
Alt TFTP NO.
Step 2
Press the
Yes
softkey.
The Alternate TFTP option reads
Yes
.
