To test your DRAM upgrade: 1. Make sure you have installed the audio card's software. (The installation of the software will be covered in the next two chapters.) 2. Start the AWE Control Panel and download SoundFont banks. From the memory status bar, you should be able to see the changes in the available memory onboard. 3. Play your SoundFont banks to make sure your DRAM Upgrade daughterboard is working properly. Refer to the online User's Guide for detailed information on how to use the AWE Control Panel. 1-6 Setting Up Your Audio Card
