Fast Ethernet Switching System User's Guide Broadcast Storm Protection Broadcast Storm Protection, shown in Figure 52, protects the LAN from being downed by a broadcast storm. The protection can be enabled or disabled on each port according to your preference and the needs of your LAN. The default value is disabled.
