System Information The System Information menu displays the Hardware Revision, MAC address, LAN IP address and other information on the DES-5200. System Reset The System Reset panel enables you to reset the DES-5200 through software rather than powering off. Factory Reset to Default Config Values Enables you to reload factory default configurations. Switch Control The advantages and disadvantages of each are explained in a later section. Software Update Software can be updated in two ways: XMODEM and TFTP. XMODEM requires a physical connection between the DES-5200 and a workstation. TFTP can be done remotely. When updating software over the web, TFTP is the only option that can be used. Refer to Chapter 5, Software Update for information on updating software through XMODEM. System Information
The System Information menu displays the Hardware Revision, MAC address,
LAN IP address and other information on the DES-5200.
System Reset
The System Reset panel enables you to reset the DES-5200 through software
rather than powering off.
Factory Reset to Default Config Values
Enables you to reload factory default configurations.
Switch Control
The advantages and disadvantages of each are explained in a later section.
Software Update
