In particular, if this value is zero, no associated event will be generated, as zero is not a valid event index number. Event The Event Group controls the generation and notification of events. Each entry in the Event Table describes the parameters of the event that can be triggered. Each event entry is fired by an associated condition located elsewhere in the MIB - in the case of this software utility, the Alarm Group. To define a set of parameters that describe an event to be generated when certain conditions are met, enter the appropriate information in the fields towards the bottom of the Event window and click on the Add button -or- use Add under the Alarm Table which will automatically create the event entry.
