CAUTION: To avoid data loss, do not remove the hard drive while the computer is in sleep or on state. Prerequisites 1 Remove the stability foot. 2 Remove the left and right side-panels. See "Removing the side panels". Procedure 1 Lay the chassis on the left side. 2 Disconnect the power cable and data cable from the hard-drive assembly (HDD1). 3 Remove the screw (#6-32x6) that secures the hard-drive assembly (HDD1) to the chassis. 41

Prerequisites

Remove the

Procedure
1
Lay the chassis on the left side.
2
Disconnect the power cable and data cable from the hard-drive assembly
(HDD1).
3
Remove the screw (#6-32x6) that secures the hard-drive assembly (HDD1)
to the chassis.
