Prerequisites 1 Remove the battery. 2 Remove the optical drive. 3 Remove the base cover. 4 Remove the hard drive. 5 Remove the wireless card. 6 Remove the keyboard. 7 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 7 in "Removing the computer base". Procedure 1 Note the antenna cable routing and remove the cable from its routing guides. 2 Lift the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board. 77
