Prerequisites 1 Remove the battery. 2 Remove the optical drive. 3 Remove the base cover. 4 Remove the hard drive. 5 Remove the wireless card. 6 Remove the keyboard. 7 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 7 in "Removing the computer base". 8 Remove the display assembly. 9 Remove the display bezel. 10 Remove the display panel. Procedure 1 Remove the six screws (M2.5x2.5 big head) that secure the display hinges to the display back-cover. 2 Remove the four screws (M2.5x3) that secure the display hinges to the display back-cover. 88
