Remove the computer cover (see Removing the Computer Cover). 3. To remove the shield loosen the eight captive screws that secure the shield to the computer. 1 captive screws (8) 2 shield Replacing the Shield 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. NOTE: Before replacing the shield, ensure that all the cables are connected and that no tools or extra parts (including screws) are left inside the computer. 2.
