Replace Cartridges Using the Printer Software Utility When an installed ink cartridge is more than six months old, you may need to replace it if your printouts do not look their best. If you need to replace a cartridge when the ink light flashes or is off, you can run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility. 1. Windows: Right-click the printer icon in the bottom right corner of your screen (the taskbar) and select Printer Settings. Macintosh: Open the Applications folder, open the EPSON Printer Utility 2, select Stylus CX5600, and click OK. 2.
