Unplug the scanner, lock the carriage in place with the transportation lock on the back of the scanner, and bring it to qualified service personnel under the following conditions: If the power supply is damaged or malfunctioning If liquid has entered the scanner If the scanner has been dropped or the cabinet damaged If the scanner does not operate normally or exhibits a distinct change in performance.
