Troubleshooting EN Ice & Water models only Problem Automatic ice maker does not work. Ice cubes have odor/taste. Slow ice cube freezing. Warm spot on central door seal. (French door models only) Possible causes Ice maker has not been turned on. Bin is in the wrong way or there is no bin in place. Water supply turned off or not connected. Freezer compartment not working. Water pressure too low. Water line kinked/squashed. Filter clogged. Unsealed packages may be transmitting odor/taste. Interior of freezer needs cleaning. Poor taste from incoming water. Door may have been left ajar. Freezer compartment too warm. You may feel a warm spot at times on the central seal between the two refrigerator doors. What to do Switch on ice maker. Place bin so scoop is on the right side. Ice bin sits directly under ice maker on top left side of freezer. Connect water supply. Contact Customer Care. Check water pressure. Check water line for kinks/ squashing. Water filter may need replacing. Old cubes need to be discarded. Ensure food packaging is sealed. Ice storage bin needs to be emptied and washed. Clean refrigerator. Filter may need changing. A new filter may need to be installed. Force 2 - 3 ice tray flips. Close door. Turn temperature to a colder setting. This is perfectly normal and is part of the normal refrigerator operation. 47
