Exercise 6.8: Charts 1. How does one view the Safe-Taxi diagram on the MFD as well as on the PFD? The Safe-Taxi diagram can be viewed by enabling it in the Navigation Map Setup: 1. On the MFD, press and hold down the CLR Key. This returns the MFD to the default MAP - Navigation Map Page. 2. Press the MENU Key. 3. Select the "Map Setup" option and press the ENT Key. 4. Use the small FMS Knob to select the "Aviation" group and press the ENT Key. 5. Using the large FMS Knob, scroll down to "SafeTaxi". 6. Enable the function by using the small FMS Knob to select a display range other than "Off". 2. On which MFD pages can JeppView charts be viewed? On the first of the five pages of the Waypoint (WPT) Page Group, the charts can be viewed by pressing the CHRT Softkey. 3. How does one verify the currency of the charts? The currency of all the databases, including the JeppView database, can be reviewed on the AUX - System Status Page in the box labeled "Database". 4.
