20 Quick Start Guide 13. Basic Settings Customize your phone settings to suit your personal needs. Ringtone 1. Tap Start > Settings, and then tap Sound. 2. Tap Ringtone, select the desired ringtone in the list, and then tap Done. Phone profile A profile is a preset that determines how your phone will alert you when there are incoming phone calls. To select a profile: 1. Tap Start > Settings, and then tap Sound. 2. Under Profiles, choose one of the following: Normal, Vibrate, Silent, or Automatic. Notes • Automatic sets your phone to vibrate only when you receive phone calls during scheduled appointments in your Calendar. • If you have set an alarm and you select the Vibrate or Silent profile, you will not hear the alarm sound when the alarm goes off. Wallpaper You can change the background image of the Home tab. 1. Tap Start > Settings, and then tap Wallpaper. The Album program opens. 2. Tap an image to set it as the Home tab wallpaper. If the image you want to use is not displayed, tap Albums and navigate to the folder where the image is located.

Customize your phone settings to suit your personal needs.
Ringtone
Tap
Start > Settings
, and then tap
Sound
.
Tap
Ringtone
, select the desired ringtone in the list, and then tap
Done
.
Phone profile
A profile is a preset that determines how your phone will alert you when there are
incoming phone calls. To select a profile:
