Also, make sure to always turn off the power before installing or replacing the battery. Note Your Global Phone accommodates a GSM SIM card for global coverage on GSM networks outside of the United States. Refer to the User Manual PDF on the Getting Started Disc for instructions on inserting a SIM card. SIM cards must be purchased from a carrier in the country you wish to use the phone and are not sold or supported by U.S. Cellular. To remove the back cover 1. Make sure your phone is turned off. 2. Remove the stylus. Note You need to temporarily remove the stylus to be able to remove or replace the back cover. 3. Firmly hold the phone with both hands and the front panel facing down. 4. Push the back cover up with your thumbs until it disengages from the phone and then slide it up to remove.

Installing the Battery and Storage Card
You need to remove the back cover before you can install the battery or storage card. Also,
make sure to always turn off the power before installing or replacing the battery.
Note
Your Global Phone accommodates a GSM SIM card for global coverage on GSM networks

To remove the back cover
Make sure your phone is turned off.
Remove the stylus.
Note
