Drive Setting up the Disk Drive Preparing the Environment Preparing the Environment The following environmental factors will help ensure top performance of your optical disk drive. disks to use, consider these points: • Rewritable optical disks--data can be repeatedly written and erased. • Write-Once optical disks--data can be written only once, and on the jukebox.
