Management Window The Management Window displays data, as well as additional options for viewing data. The data displayed in the Management Window is dependent on the selected manager from the "Manager Pane" (page 398) and the selected node from the "Management Tree" (page 397). Also included for quick visual reference, Normal , Degraded , or Failed status icons are displayed in the tree to quickly identify systems or related system components that may require attention. Alerts, Tasks, and Connection Pane The Alerts, Tasks, and Connection pane contains the following tabs for quick reference: • New Alerts - Displays new alerts for all connected systems • Recent Tasks - Displays recent tasks for all connected systems • My Connections - Displays user connections to each system Status Bar The Status bar is located at the bottom of the HP 3PAR Management Console. The left side of the Status bar displays the last action performed with the HP 3PAR Management Console. The right side of the Status bar displays icons representing the highest alert level, connection status, and data retrieval process status. The right side of the Status bar also displays an icon for any runtime exceptions. The icon can be clicked to view details about the exception. 406 Interface Components
