The ingress policy is applied in the adapter to all outgoing traffic that matches the specified class. When you configure an ingress policy on an interface or port channel, the switch sends the configuration data to the adapter. To configure an ingress policy, perform this task: Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Command switch# configure terminal switch(config)# class-map class-name switch(config)# policy-map policy1-name switch(config-pmap)# class class-name Purpose Enters configuration mode. Creates a class for the ingress policy. Creates a policy map to specify the QoS parameters for the ingress policy. To configure an ingress policy, perform this task:
