Using the Right Paper Type Option The Paper Type option you select determines how the HP Color Copier prints on the paper you are using. Each time you load a different type of paper in the paper tray or document feeder, be sure to set the corresponding Paper Type option on the front panel. Be sure paper is loaded fully forward in the lower tray. ‹ HP Premium InkJet Paper: Locate the gray arrow on the nonprinting side of the paper and insert the paper with the arrow side up. ‹ HP Premium Photo Paper: Load the shiny side facing down.
