5 Entertainment features Use your HP computer for business or pleasure to meet with others via the camera, mix audio and video, or connect external devices like a projector, monitor, TV, or speakers. See Components on page 3 to locate the audio, video and camera features on your computer. Using a camera Your computer has one camera that enables you to connect with others for work or play. Your camera allows you to video chat, record video, and record still images. To determine which camera is on your product, see Components on page 3. To use your camera, type camera in the taskbar search box, and then select Camera from the list of applications. Some cameras also feature HD (high-definition) capability, apps for gaming, or facial recognition software like Windows Hello. See Security on page 31 for details about using Windows Hello. You can enhance your computer privacy by covering the lens with the camera privacy cover. By default, the camera lens is uncovered, but you can slide the camera privacy cover to block the camera's view. To use the camera, slide the camera privacy cover in the opposite direction to reveal the lens. Using audio You can download and listen to music, stream audio content (including radio) from the web, record audio, or mix audio and video to create multimedia. You can also play music CDs on an attached external optical drive. To enhance your listening enjoyment, attach headphones or speakers. Using sound settings Use sound settings to adjust system volume, change system sounds, or manage audio devices. Viewing or changing sound settings Use these instructions to view or change sound settings. ▲ Type control panel in the taskbar search box, select Control Panel, select Hardware and Sound, and then select Sound. Using the control panel to view and control audio settings You can view or change sound settings using the audio control panel. Your computer might include an enhanced sound system by Bang & Olufsen, DTS, Beats audio, or another provider. As a result, your computer might include advanced audio features that can be controlled through an audio control panel specific to your audio system. Using a camera
Your computer has one camera that enables you to connect with others for work or play. Your camera allows
you to video chat, record video, and record still images.

. To use your camera, type
