8. Swing the rear edge of the keyboard (3) up and forward until it rests upside down on the palm rest. NOTE: Step 9 applies only to computer models equipped with a keyboard with backlight. 9. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the backlight cable is attached, and then disconnect the backlight cable (2) from the system board. 10. Release the ZIF connector (3) to which the keyboard cable is attached, and then disconnect the keyboard cable (4) from the system board. 11.
