Removal and Replacement Procedures 2. Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screws 1 that secure the modem module to the system board. 3. Lift the front of the modem module 2 to disconnect it from the system board. 4. Disconnect the modem module cable 3 from the modem module. 5. Disconnect the modem cable 4 from the system board. 6. Remove the modem connector 5 from the clip in the base enclosure. ✎ The modem module cable is included with the modem module spare part kit and is also available in the Cable Kit, spare part number 430883-001.
