Introduction 1-13 Replacing the RA4000 Controller without RA4000 Redundant Controller When an RA4000 Controller fails in an online RA4000 Array: 1. Perform a normal system shutdown of the servers. 2. Power down the RA4000.  3. Unplug all power cords from the RA4000 Array. Remove the Fibre Channel cable attached to the GBIC in the failed RA4000 Controller.  4. Replacing the RA4000 Controller without RA4000 Redundant
Controller
When an RA4000 Controller fails in an online RA4000 Array:
1.
Perform a normal system shutdown of the servers.
2.
Power down the RA4000.
3.
Unplug all power cords from the RA4000 Array. Remove the Fibre Channel cable
attached to the GBIC in the failed RA4000 Controller.
4.
Squeeze the tabs on either side of the GBIC
