Authentication determines whether a request originated from the correct user or application. Accept Only Encrypted Authentication Click on this radio button to set your terminal to accept only encrypted authentication. Encryption is a method of "hiding" data that is transmitted across a network. Accept Only Microsoft Encrypted Authentication Click on this radio button to set your terminal to accept only Microsoft encrypted authentication.
