Cleaning the glass cooktop,rasnommeode/s Metal Marks and Scratches % Be careful not to slide pots and pans across your cooktop. It will leave metal markings on the cooktop surface. These marks ore removable using the CERAIV]ABRYTE® Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner with the CERAMA BRYTE® Cleaning Pad for Ceramic Cooktops. [] If pots with a thin overlay of aluminum or copper are allowed to boil dry, the overlay may leave block discoloration on the cooktop. This should be removed immediately before heating again or the discoloration may be permanent. A WARNING: Corduc/h/yeck the bottom of pans for roughness that would scratch the cooktop. Cooktop Seal To cleon the cooktop seal around the edges of the gloss, lay o wet cloth on it for a few minutes, then wipe cleon with nonabrasive cleaners. Glass surface--potential for permanent damage. Our testing shows that if you are cooking high sugar mixtures such as jelly or fudge and hove o spillover, it con cause permanent damage to the gloss surface unless the spillover is immediately removed.
